  • What’s a Missional Community?

    February 11, 2010 | 0 Comments

One of the things happening “behind the scenes” right now with Christ Church is the “seeding” of Missional Communities, which are essentially close-knit mid-sized communities on mission together. These communities will be forming the foundation of what Christ Church will become in the years to come.

Missional Communities aren’t worship services or small groups or classes… they’re something that most American Christians haven’t seen before, but have their roots in the ancient church. They are typically difficult to define, but there is a Wikipedia entry on Missional Communities that explains it really well.

    Have a look!
