Vision/Mission
Christ Church is a new church plant in Fort Wayne, Indiana, seeking to join God in the renewal of all things. We desire to be a faith community for skeptics and dreamers, a place for people to explore what Christian community looks/feels/tastes like and imagine what renewal might look like in our homes and neighborhoods. We want to be a fresh expression of the kingdom of God in Fort Wayne and beyond, living as a people with a mission: to join with God in what he’s up to in the world.
We believe that the good news of Jesus has the power to transform communities and cities, and that God’s desire for the world is that through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, all creation would experience the wholeness and liberating joy that come from loving God, trusting Jesus and living in the Spirit.
So our reason for existing as a community is pretty simple. We want to see people renewed by the love of God, equip them as faithful followers of Jesus Christ, and send them out by the power of the Holy Spirit to be a voice of hope and healing to a messy, broken world. Everything we do revolves around this purpose.
