We meet as a church community for worship every Sunday at 5pm at 300 E Wayne St. in downtown Fort Wayne. We gather as participants together (not spectators at a show) to celebrate and reflect on the good news of Jesus together.
Our worship gatherings maintain a loose liturgical structure of:
We value simplicity over sizzle, and strive to facilitate an expression of worship that invites participation, not consumerism. We’re more interested in immersing people in the presence of God than impressing them with our technical brilliance. Our goal is that these gatherings would be meaningful but also sustainable for the long haul. We don’t want them to become the “tail wagging the dog.”
We gather to worship in order to be refreshed, equipped and formed as the Body of Christ to be sent out in as missionaries to our neighborhoods and networks during the other six days of the week.
WHAT ABOUT KIDS?
We love having them in our worship gathering, and they are welcome throughout. We have a nursery available for kids ages 0-4.
On the second and fourth Sundays of the month, during the sermon, children are invited to attend a class that engages with the Scriptures on a kid-friendly level. The kids come back into the service to take the Eucharist (Lord’s Supper) with their families.
